We May Have Been Dranking

It’s Saint Patrick’s Day and we may have been drinking scotch, but that doesn’t mean we’re not still reasonable. Even intoxicated we make more sense then these guys:

Because white genocide is obviously something to be worried about, right white people?

On today’s TWiBPrime, we also discussed the KKK’s image overhaul, Mississippi’s new law requiring welfare recipients to take a drug test in order to get their benefits, and why sometimes, you just get tired of fighting.

    There’s nothing quite like a good, top shelf Irish scotch.

  2. 2
    Poopyman says:

    @different-church-lady: That would be Irish Whiskey. Scotch comes from Scotland.

    Just finished up a glass of Knappogue Castle 14, myself.

  3. 3
    Poopyman says:

    Also, the only white genocide those guys should worry about is some driver deciding to take them out whilst standing along the side of the road.

    And was that Roy Orbison in the background of the pic at the link?

  4. 4
    different-church-lady says:

    @Poopyman: I am entirely aware of that.

  5. 5

    @different-church-lady: Japanese Scotch isn’t scotch either. So they say, anyway.

    All not Scottish as well.

    I’m sure I’ll be whizzing my pants just like these guys as soon as I come across someone who’d actually genocide my white ass. I’ll make sure to let them know when that happens. Tell them to hold their breaths in the meantime.

    There are a couple of white guys in robes — one blue, one white — and matching pointy hats. What does the attire signify? And what is that red-and-white flag one of them is waving?

  9. 9
    shelly says:

    I would think it goes without saying, that when you’re talking about ‘celebrating our white heritage’, it would be a good idea not to have guys in robes and hoods standing alongside the road.

  10. 10

    @Amir Khalid: What does the attire signify?

    That they are fucking morons.

    @Ash Can:

    IIRC, when they say “genocide” they generally mean “miscegenation,” i.e. too many white people are having babies with too many not-white people and OMG there will be no blondes left by 2050! (or whatever the new whitapocalypse date is, I’ve lost track).

    Of course, my cousin-in-law and his wife, who are a wonderfully varied mix of black, white, and Latino (and both natural brunettes), somehow managed to produce a blue-eyed, blond son, so nobody really knows WTF will happen when human genes line up to do their do-si-do and produce a new human.

    I think ruemara said below that one of her siblings popped out a blond, too, and the nurses were reluctant to hand him over to his (black) mother since she couldn’t possibly be the mother of a blond baby boy. Genes are wackier than anyone is willing to admit.

    a tough weekend for our Al Qaeda allies. However, even though they lost the town of Yarbrud, but they made up for it by setting of another car bomb in Lebanon. I’m sure Secretary Kerry will stand firm and make sure the flow of weapons and money to Al Qaeda keeps on keeping on.

    be steadfast, Al Qaeda, America, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Israel stand with you in your valiant struggle against the godless secularists in Syria.

    Can we introduce the Klansmen to some good old-fashioned genocide like everyone in your neck of the woods is going to be commemorating on April 24? I don’t normally favor that kind of thing, but I’m willing to make a special exception in their case.

  40. 40
    Roger Moore says:

    @Poopyman:

    You don’t use a list during genocide!

    If your goal is to be thorough you sure as hell do. The Nazis were very big on coming up with lists of the people they were going to genocide, and it would be hard to find better experts on the matter.

  46. 46
    Mike with a Mic says:

    The genocide thing is based off the nasty history of groups that were treated as second class and violently oppressed, engaging in the same when they gain more political power than the group that was oppressing them. That goes back as far back as humans go, and is still at play in areas like the middle east. However it’s not really a worry in modern western societies where there are protections put in place to stop it from happening.

    It’s part based on an acceptance of the horrible history of humans in general, and part a “hey if we were willing to fuck them over when we had a chance of course they are going to fuck us over when they get a chance”. The press can always gin up one or two idiots totally willing to advocate this as well.

    Though the people worrying about it tend to be abusive and full of hatred on their own.

    @Mike with a Mic: It’s not just oppression, it’s dehumanizing humans and groups. Now latinos are shot coming over the border and only a few care because as a society they have dehumanized. 54. 54
    🍀 Martin says:

    @Mike with a Mic:

    It’s part based on an acceptance of the horrible history of humans in general

    I think its a bit worse than that. The few ‘white genocide’ people I’ve had the misfortune to interact with would pretty clearly have been leading the pack in black or latino genocide if they thought they could get away with it. These are people that believe not only that genocide is a suitable solution to a problem, but that others agree and are only waiting to gain control of the government to unleash it against whites. There’s no abstract acknowledgement of ‘other groups’ committing this crime, they seek to commit it themselves.

    @Mike in NC: There have been a number of new Irish distillers pop up over the past few years. (Note: Not Irish Distillers, the owners of Jamesons.) I was happy to find this out last fall when the local wine shop slipped a few Irish brands in during a scotch sampling evening. Jura is pretty good, but my fave (as mentioned in Comment #2) is 14 y.o. Knappogue Castle.
