Some of you aren’t as nice to ABL as you should be, given that you’re not all that bad a group as human beings go. On this last Sunday of lent, why not atone for your sins by giving her some money (EDIT: her annual fundraiser, not a random bleg, people)? Who but ABL would …

Announcement and Bleg
I have some news, my little juice boxes. ABLC is moving to Raw Story on Sunday. My new address will be angryblacklady.rawstory.com (or something similar). So hooray! I’ll probably keep cross-posting here (much to the chagrin of some of you, I’m sure), but I won’t be cross-posting full posts (see? it’s not all bad!). It’ll …
I feel the earth move under my feet
I just saw a couple articles on possible links between shale extraction and (smallish) earthquakes. This doesn’t sound like nonsense to me, based on the studies mentioned and linked to in the articles. Is it though? Siri with a fringe on top
Do any of you have the new iPhone? I know that the Siri voice recognition thing incorporates Wolfram Alpha somehow. Can you ask it to solve stuff and graph stuff by voice control? I am jacked about this possibility, it would be fantastic in the classroom if you could make it display on a projector …
Hulu bleg
I’m not watching the Cain “Imagine” video, I have strong memories of that song. I remember, right after 9/11, Neil Young did a version of it and it was getting played everywhere, even on pop radio in the south (where I lived at the time), despite the “imagine no religion” part. Then, they suddenly stopped …
