I woke up this morning and noticed that my drawing 'Donald the Reaper' was liked and shared en masse on Twitter. Thank you all for that. Please Retweet this image; I want to be sure Trump also sees this drawing today. pic.twitter.com/wxOspPyvNB

Biden’s strongest rationale has always been the Bush 41 “man at the desk” argument. What was not clear, before the pandemic, was whether that message would match the moment. https://t.co/KlC4dQnHV0

I’m sure people who can’t go to loved ones funerals are very sympathetic to Trump’s pain at not golfing since March.

This doesn’t meet the criteria for inclusion in the #ToddlerinChief thread, but it’s still one hell of a lede. https://t.co/w6VoMt0xC3 pic.twitter.com/w3mAzjBMfp

Trump's golf habit alone has cost taxpayers $137.1 million in extra travel and security costs.
And several million dollars of that has flowed directly back into his own cash registers through lodging and meals by U.S. government employees. https://t.co/ogEGTvLk5g

The Wall Street Journal assures us that this… “Shinola”… is actually delicious chocolate pudding!
Trump's golf outing today is no accident. He & Biden are taking very different approaches to life w covid, placing very different bets on how voters will view the outbreak by November. More here w @KThomasDC on the potential risks and benefits for both:https://t.co/NwSpsqKbaA

Nearly 100,000 Americans are dead. With no plan in sight, Donald Trump has decided to hit the golf course.#TrumpGolfsYouDie pic.twitter.com/VmxeBpRPuj

Raoul
Businesses that reflexively support Republicans (or give to both parties, but most weight their contributions “R”) are getting screwed anyway. Which of course we all coulda told ’em. For quite some time now.
Brachiator
Damn, that cartoon presents an incredible image.
And the current count is 99,427 dead from the Corona Virus.
Amir Khalid
I wonder if there is any chance of modifying the pie filter so that I can pie images of Donald Trump.

This whole thing reminds me of a tweet Obama read as part of Jimmy Kimmel’s “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” segment. Somebody asked “Is there any way we could fly Obama to some golf course halfway around the world and just leave him there?” Obama, having a sense of humor, said he thought it would be a great idea. I honestly think we’d be in a lot better shape if we just let Trump spend the remainder of his term golfing, as long as he wasn’t allowed to use the power of his office while he was doing it. The whole government would function a lot better if he weren’t actively making things worse.

Doc Brown may have been on to something.

And is American agriculture back up and running as if nothing ever happened? //
This man has decimated every single thing he has ever touched.

Day for experimentation with the super duper bread machine. Sounds delish on paper. Cross yer paws, jackals.
Had some of those little fruit cups of diced pears in juice. Two of those came out to 1 cup on the nose.

@Amir Khalid
How went the Eid feast-for-one?
ThresherK
I’m sure Shinola is a perfectly cromulent shoe polish, but they’ve been fighting an uphill branding problem for decades. This could make a perfectly good comedy sketch, like a parody of Mad Men.
(Unless someone’s already done that. It’s right there, people!)
Mike in NC
Fat Bastard made a few remarks about the 100K dead from his criminal negligence while at Arlington National Cemetery today. As always, the insincerity was palpable.
NotMax
@Mike in NC
Could he be heard over the sound of so many bodies spinning in their graves?

Amir Khalid
@NotMax:
It had a kind of not-really-Eid vibe. ?

@Raoul:
shitforbrains is good at screwing his supporters.
They aren’t good at understanding that he’s screwing them. Of course they are his supporters so excess brain power is extremely unlikely to be a problem for them.

Bothsiderist Jeremy Scahill found religion? Any contrarian fool can be redeemed, I guess.
Uncle Cosmo
On track to exceed the total number of US military dead in all wars since the end of World War II (102,684 per Wiki) by the end of May. Truck Fump.

@AWOL: good to know he found something to distract him from his ice cream outrage.

@Amir Khalid: If only.

From the Washington Post article linked in the tweet up top:
…
A devastating indictment.
Gin & Tonic
@Amir Khalid: Sorry, but that drawing in the top Tweet can’t be Trump. Ass isn’t fat enough.

@WaterGirl:
Well, as Michelle Obama once said, when they go low, we watch them go even lower.

O/T: Has Adam been around? I was sure he’d post something today. Is he ok? Or, did I miss something?
zhena gogolia
@Jackie:
I’ve been wondering too. But sometimes he gets busy and doesn’t post for a while.
FelonyGovt
Somehow I don’t think people will have forgotten the pandemic or its economic fallout by November.
NotMax
@zhena gogolia
Would hazard a guess he’s off doing Adam things which are gobbling up the bulk of his time and attention (and which he’s forbidden from sharing).
TS (the original)
@WaterGirl:
Be nice if the pundits had picked up on the issue that it is usually – if not always – women that he attacks in this fashion.
Gin & Tonic
@Jackie: I don’t think he’s posted here, but I got an email from him Saturday afternoon, so he’s not dead or in prison.
sdhays
This triggers a memory of something Biden mentioned off-hand during his long interview with Colbert. He mentioned that as VP, he would still take the train back to Delaware against the recommendations of the Secret Service, which wanted to fly. He said it was “too expensive”, and I took that to mean “too expensive to the taxpayer”, since I wasn’t under the impression that he would have to pay for the flight on Air Force 2.
What a dramatically different set of priorities.
WaterGirl
@TS (the original): Yep. It would be nice if the pundits did a lot of things. But you have to be asleep at the wheel not to notice that.
The president of the fucking united states is calling a woman a skank. The candidate who beat him by 3 million votes is a skank.
Trump is what we used to call white trash.
KrackenJack
@Amir Khalid: That’s one reason I suppress images pretty ruthlessly on my regular news sites. Frankly, most of the other images don’t add any value either. I can unblock as needed for charts, superblooms, heart warming pets, or weather phenomena.
Jim, Foolish Literalist
@WaterGirl: I think of him, his family and his supporters as trump trash
WaterGirl
@Jim, Foolish Literalist: Trump trash. I like it.
