Pelosi gets to be President because Trump and Pence are impeached. She appoints Hillary as her VP, and then she gets killed, making Hillary the new POTUS. It wasn’t clear to me who was going to kill her. Probably Hillary.

Hoyer says Trump will claim they abandoned the meeting. But that Dems were deeply offended by Trump’s disrespectful treatment of Pelosi.

Pelosi says Trump had a “meltdown … sad to say.”

While this may seem like a bit of an overreaction—they could have simply confiscated the pork, issued a fine, or given her a booting—Australia has highly strict biosecurity laws meant to protect their unique ecosystem and agricultural industries from invasive species and diseases.

Currently, Asia is experiencing a devastating outbreak of incurable and highly contagious swine flu that has so far killed over 100 million pigs, and Australian officials have put the country on high alert to protect their pork industry. @Ladyraxterinok: No, that’s the problem – the IRS doesn’t have enough money to conduct audits of the wealthy because they will hire lawyers to defend against and prolong the audit. Poor people can’t afford lawyers, so their audits are not a problem for the IRS.

Read a report IRS audited in 1 yr many more returns from poor MS counties than from upper 10%! If true, they have $$for audits.

Poor peoples’ tax returns are relatively simple & don’t take much time or skill to audit. Do the employer-issued payroll stubs match the claimed deduction? Are the social security numbers given for the dependents verified?

Rich people pay accountants to make their much more complicated tax forms extremely hard to parse — obscure deductions, loopholes, trusts, etc. The richer the person, the fatter their tax filing.

A low-level agent can ding a dozen or a hundred EZ-1040 holders in the time it takes to route one regional car dealership owner’s form to someone with the proper expertise & background to do a full audit. It’s the IRS equivalent of a police department writing up a hundred red-light traffic stops rather than investigating one local drug middleman or human trafficker.
