Spent the day running around- picked up Tammy, dropped off medicine for his dogs and visited his cats, hit Lowe’s for some paint for the front porch, came home, then headed to the Bridgeville Farmer’s market to get some things, then to Chico Fiesta for dinner, and now back home to prep for tomorrow. First up, Samantha and Charlie helped us pick out paint:
Tomorrow we deal with this:
That’s 16 gallon bags of tomatoes that will turn into sauce tomorrow. Curious to see how it turns out.
I’ll post some kitten pics tomorrow, but for now I am pooped.

The his here is your brother? Just want to make sure I’m following.

Sam and Charlie are very excited about paint.

Sometimes I go to Lowes just to meet all the cute dogs that hang out there. All the cashiers hand out treats.
Gretchen
What sauce recipe are you using? Mine came out kind of bland and watery.
HinTN
@Gretchen:
Sixteen gallons of frozen maters should cook down to a pint or so of sauce. Definitely need to add molasses or brown sugar and something to spice it up (peppers simmered with the maters or a spice bag).
Adam L Silverman
@HinTN: Use chopped carrots to sweeten the sauce. Then you don’t have to add sugar.

The tongues on those dogs!

Sorry, but cannot get used to seeing doggies in those stores. Especially after having seen them relieve themselves (both kinds) on the floors of the aisles.

Just a cat doing cat stuff.

@NotMax
Also will mention that there are some allergic to dogs, so it isn’t really fair or courteous to them to encounter animals in a non-pet shop.

@HinTN:
Whoa. Really? That’s …. wow. Seems more of a reduction than I’d expect. Doesn’t seem like it it goes that far down when I make pasta sauce from canned tomoatoes.

Can’t wait to see how the sauce comes out, Cole?

@NotMax: So tile displays shouldn’t be pissed on?
debbie
@NotMax:
You run a bigger risk of being crapped on by a bird flying overhead in the rafters than witnessing a dog peeing on a display.

“We’re color-blind, but pick *that* one!”

@NotMax: Well, I guess, but here in southern OR you have to stop to pet the dogs in just about every store.
