Watching Homecoming with my girl.

Lily jumped up on to the bed today for the first time since she was diagnosed with cancer. I’ve had to lift her ever since. Until today.

    Fuck yeah Lily.

Not gonna lie, I took Lily’s diagnosis almost as hard as I took Hair Fuhrer’s election…

Cherish your days with your loved ones folks!

The stupid urgent care center made me go to the ER for my asthma attack because they didn’t have any oxygen, so it cost me $200 instead of $50. Plus I felt stupid walking into the ER with moderate asthma that was making me uncomfortable, but luckily it was a quiet afternoon.

I was so happy to read that on Twitter earlier. Now I’m happy because you shared that with us here. I was hoping you would!

The picture of Lily doesn’t show up for me. Sometimes when I load the page, I get the big box with a question mark inside. If I reload, I don’t get that but there is no indication that there should be a photo there, except that there is an extra line of space.

But if I click in the white space, a HUGE photo appears. Sweet Lily.

@Mnemosyne: Several years ago when I wasn’t on regular medication, I had my wife take me to the local ER because I felt an oncoming asthma attack. The ER bill was about $300 but they did call me the next day to ask how I was doing.

I look forward to next week when Miss Lily jumps up on your bed to wake your ass up to take her out to pee.

Can’t wait for the curmudgeonly rant.🐕🐕🐕🐶😂😂

Lily! She’s just the best, sweetest girl.

@Mnemosyne: Wow, that sounds scary. Could you appeal to the insurance company for the $150 difference since it’s not your fault they didn’t have oxygen?

@WaterGirl: That’s like that post from Alain the other day that had the scary Yule loaf or whatever it was that looked like body parts. Showed up in Cole’s Twitter feed for the tweet for that post but I couldn’t see it in the actual post at all.

At the risk of writing the same thing that every other decent human being writes in this comment section. That is great news about Lily. I’m so happy that she’s feeling better.

She’s so pretty and she looks really healthy, fur, weight and ears.

    Great news about Lily!

Hugo, the neighborhood stray cat my good friends took in a couple of months ago, wasn’t eating last week and was diagnosed with cancer, which makes me very sad. However, he was put on anti-nausea drugs and painkillers, and he’s now eating like a horse and acting like his old self. With luck he’ll have at least a couple of good years, and he might get really lucky and go into remission. (That’s all I know; I don’t know the specifics yet.)

    Redshift says:

And in happier news, my good friend Jennifer Boysko easily won the nomination for Jennifer Wexton’s state senate seat. Even better, 2600+ people came out to vote for the nomination yesterday, and when the Republicans had their nominating meeting today, they had 69 people voting.

@WaterGirl: I’ve appealed things and managed to get them approved. Sometimes the wording that works is even available online. One can always try.

Sadly, what WaterGirl said. The insurance company will say I chose to go there, so tough luck. I was able to afford it, so luckily it was more of an annoyance than anything else.

Thanks for cute petpic. Nice to hear Lily is getting spry again.
But, looks like she was watching something else. Was she just taking a break for ‘squirrel!’ in the window, or something?

So I’m thinking of a Olympus Has Fallen II.

The President is a young, female Military Veteran of Colour.

The “Presidential Bunker” is revealed as nothing more than a Safe Room, because Washington is built on a swamp.

The Speaker is a Rethug, who elects to take no action, as when the President is dead, “we’ll just call a Special Election”

The attackers arn’t NORKs, but instead ‘Murkin Nazi’s and Militia’s.

The President, along with a no traditional alliance, saves herself.

So I’ve got the immigrant taxi driver who figures out the MAGA’s armed to the shit, arn’t White House Tourists, and takes action,

The old, crochety LBGTQ frendly White guy , ( maybe the VP) who pulls the tennis balls off his walker, and takes out Nazis.

    Any other ideas?
