Who’s going to give back the young and beautiful lives (and others) that have been devastated and destroyed by the phony Russia Collusion Witch Hunt? They journeyed down to Washington, D.C., with stars in their eyes and wanting to help our nation…They went back home in tatters!

Cathie from Canada
I just read somewhere that Melania has moved back to New York — in tatters, apparently, and its all Mueller’s fault, I’m sure.
SectionH
@Cathie from Canada: Don’t believe everything you read?
TeezySkeezy (formerly the T S you hate)
@Cathie from Canada: She’ll probably keep her mouth shut because she wants an inheritance…but I would suggest she might not be waiting on much, he could just decide not to leave her anything just because he’s a dick like that, and maybe if she just started her tell all tour right now, she’d end up with more money anyway.
Villago Delenda Est
Anyone who works for, or was appointed by, Donald Trump, needs to suffer for the error of their ways. Until death.
Chet Murthy
@TeezySkeezy (formerly the T S you hate): To follow along with your idea, if (in my dreams) Mueller were to start bringing RICO prosecutions against the Trump Org, geez, she might bug out pronto, in the hopes of getting whatever she’s entitled to in her prenup (esp. since Shitlord’s basically admitted to infidelity when she was a new mother) since the prosecutions might eat up all his $$. Na ga ha pen, we’re not that blessed. Sigh.
justawriter
I honestly can’t blame Melania since I truly believe she thought The Donald would be long dead from Big Mac toxicity long before now.
NotMax
Got yer young and beautiful witch hunt right here.
:)

Unless Melania signed away any claims to inheritance in her prenup, under NY law she statutorily gets a large chunk when twitler dies. I do wonder about that prenup, tho. She may be hoping Stormy’s case will resolve things in her favor.
SectionH
I hadn’t heard that Gardner died. http://file770.com/?p=42443
Shit.
hervevillechaizelounge
Screw Melania.
For an immigrant—one who worked here without a visa, I might add—to stand by smirking while her husband paints emigres as subhuman is unforgivable.
I hereby vote we rescind her US citizenship as soon as Nacho Hitler is dead or in jail.
SectionH
@SectionH: In this case, READ the comments.

Just watched a segment on MSNBC on Planned Parenthood with Cecile Richards. Jeremy Peters, hack-in-training at the FNYT, kept talking about the pro-life people. “Pro-life” is their term for themselves. They are not in fact pro-life. They’re opposed to abortion. That’s it. That’s all they have going for them. Why do they get to define themselves in such glowing terms? Why didn’t Richards object to Peters’ stenography?
bystander
Another case in point is Philip Bump’s piece in WaPo today (no links because no clicks from me) explaining how twitler has made them all use the word “spy” instead of “informant” because he can.

Have we already covered how the Yankee Stadium crowd reacted to Rudy Giuliani’s birthday?
(Picture Ernie Hudson at the end of Ghostbusters, hollering: “I love this town!”)

A hallmark of the modern conservative movement is their shameless and grossly melodramatic victimization syndrome and endless quest for self-pity, when our entire society is rigged in their favor. Someone needs to kick Donald Trump really hard in the balls, just to see if the pink-scalped moron has any!

@justawriter:
A rich old man, and she won’t have to worry…
I would bet against Melania moving to NYC unless she can take Barron with her. Whatever else may be going on, the one thing I don’t believe of her is that she’d leave Barron to be raised by whatever staff The Donald assigned to the task.
Bobby Thomson
But cash in their offshore accounts, and that’s the only metric that counts to these jackasses.

@hervevillechaizelounge:
American citizenship cannot be revoked unless a naturalised citizen committed fraud in the naturalisation process, and I am not aware of any evidence or even speculation of such fraud by Melania.
glory b
@lowtechcyclist: However, I heard that Barron actually lives with her parents in Maryland, closer to the school he attends. so, he may not actually be in the White House anyway.
And, as the descendant of more than a few of the “household help,” they might do a better job.

@bystander:
I know several Catholics who are both anti abortion and anti death penalty, so I do not begrudge them the label “pro life”.

@SectionH: I knew his work only as the name on those annual anthologies (and author of the long essays contained within about the state of the industry). I always went to those anthologies to get a glimpse of promising new talent who weren’t yet on the book shelves. Reading that article, now I understand that Dozois was the reason they were such a treasure trove of new talent.
Neldob
It’s pathetic. The “conservatives” are not conservative, the “pro-life” are not pro-life, the “patriots” are traitors, the party of “law and order” are a bunch of criminals, and on and on.
BubbaDave
@Neldob:
And the Republicans are monarchists.

@Bruce K: IIRC Rudy wasn’t very popular in NYC prior to 9/11. It was his only claim to fame.
Boris, Rasputin's Evil Twin
@NotMax: Lovely photo. Would this be the Mediaeval Baebes, the singers, by any chance? This seems to be their style.
Geoduck
For the record, there’s no proof Melania has moved back to NYC, but she hasn’t been seen in public since her kidney procedure.
NickM
@TeezySkeezy (formerly the T S you hate): What Melania is going to make out of this deal is spelled out in the prenup to the penny. She wouldn’t have touched that orange shitpile otherwise; she’s no fool.
Steeplejack
@Boris, Rasputin’s Evil Twin:
It’s a stock photo, so practically by definition guaranteed not to contain anyone famous or even recognizable (as in “Hey, isn’t that the woman from that [whatever] ad?”).
