Only saw a couple of minutes of the game, including the stupid trick play with Brady being a receiver. :-/ . He’s had an amazing career, but they deserved to have that blow up in their faces.

J’s sad, but not too broken up. She stopped watching after the hit on Cooks. :-(

And to female persons for reasonable lengths of time…… My understanding was that he’s fairly deep into the scientology lifestyle and bringing up children more normally was an issue.
Or am I missing something else altogether? This is possible, I try to avoid any and all issues about anything to do with scientology as much as I can, which I’d like to be zero but due to family history and current conditions I can not quite get to zero at this moment and I consider him to be a rather useless but not necessarily dangerous human, as opposed to half our current political class.

New kitchen faucet, including new flex hoses from the shut-off valves, installed and water turned back on. Nothing dripping; still have to wait 24 hours for the super strength Loctite sealant to set.

What should have taken 90 minutes took 3+ hours. The old age bod doesn’t wiggle in, around, and out of tight spaces while on the back nor reach and stretch like it used to, so some breaks to un-pain and recover from occasional temporary dizziness were necessary. Plus getting some of the nuts on the old faucet loosened was a bear and a half, their having sat untouched since being installed 49 years ago. Normally could finesse that with what is in the toolbox but instead made a command decision to run out to the nearby hardware store and buy a basin wrench, as will also be doing a replacement for the bathroom sink faucet later on.

Only used it on the separate undercover of the faucet unit, not on the nuts. Because of the condition of the surface under the original faucet, it was a more suitable choice.

Next sucker can spend an extra 10 minutes tapping a putty knife with a hammer around the edges to release it.

I hate plumbing. I always need some other fitting no matter how well I think I’ve planned ahead, it’s always a contortion to get to the bits that need wrenching or soldering, etc., etc.

    Good plumbers earn their pay.
