Truth: Jared Kushner and @EricTrump were joint deputy campaign managers to @realDonaldTrump. Nobody else. Not one person made a decision without their approval. Others just took credit for this family’s amazing ability. I’m done with all these lies. They will be embarrassed!

Why’s this Rumspringa-dropout dude suddenly popping up on Twitter, again?

Hahaha, either this guy really hates Qusay & Kushner, or he’s really stupid, because comments like this make it still harder for them to claim ignorance RE collusion w Russians. https://t.co/N1g6bTPXN8

Ah… from the San Antonio Current:
Senator Dianne Feinstein has summoned Brad Parscale — web director of San Antonio’s Giles-Parscale design firm — to testify and submit documents to the Senate Judiciary Committee on any interaction he’s had with Russian nationals.
This, of course, has to do with Parscale’s integral role in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, in which he led the team’s digital media efforts. As the main guy pouring campaign money into the Facebook advertisements and marketing strategies that ushered Trump into the White House, Parscale has inevitably been linked to those in Trump’s camp suspected of letting Russia interfere with the 2016 election.
Parscale, who’s called the Trumps “family,” has previously denied any corroboration with Russia in regards to his campaign work…
Sen. Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee has also requested an interview with Dan Scavino, the Trump campaign’s social media director. Her Wednesday letter to Parscale was addressed to his San Antonio company, Giles-Parscale Inc., a company co-owned by Jill Giles that received a hefty $93 million for its work on the successful Trump campaign.
However, the local design firm, known for providing interior design and branding to the Pearl’s top residents (Hotel Emma, Supper, Local Coffee, Larder, and the Can Plant, to name a few), has tried its best to sever itself from the Trump brand.
That may be why Parscale moved the political arm of Giles-Parscale to Florida in June — leaving the more corporate and commercial efforts in San Antonio. Especially because, according to several reports, Parscale is already actively involved in Trump’s re-election campaign planning….
And here I’d more or less assumed Parscale was just in it for the grift, like all the other Trump satellites…
… Kushner was Parscale’s “patron,” according to a person familiar with the campaign’s inner workings, which could explain their closeness.
Kushner got Parscale hired, the person said, “despite the fact that a number of people in the campaign wondered whether he had any idea what he was doing.”
“He’s Jared’s boy,” the person added. “I had [campaign] deputies telling me they couldn’t question anything the guy did or said, and they were unhappy about that.” …… Parscale’s tweet also raises new questions about how involved Kushner and Eric Trump were in episodes that have drawn the most scrutiny from investigators probing the campaign’s ties to Russia…
I took a look at Parscale’s Twitter feed, and he’s live-tweeting Fire & Fury in the sort of pseudo-‘educated’, middle-school vocabulary and sentence structure with which the Trump family (and its noisiest fans) is most comfortable:
This is just insane. Guess some former west wingers don’t know the difference between Grace and Ignorance. Intelligence is not the key ingredient to chaos. pic.twitter.com/EG68KljGBX

Not true. @gop was all in. Even within hours of the election they were finding more money to spend. One person within the party isn’t something. @KMWalsh_GOP was fighting right next to me until the very end. #FakeNews. pic.twitter.com/dlaS3p0uKw

Laughable. Not only did I know we would win I put my money where my mouth was. Everyone but a few “selfish personalities” knew we were either leading or close. Those worried about their own brand couldn’t see the forest through the trees. Those people had zero control anyways! pic.twitter.com/7mbbYBVP41

If you click over to read the page shots Parscale’s complaining about, he’s introducing — to Trumplodytes who might otherwise not have read the book — Wolff’s barbs about Pence being a moron grateful for his unearned elevation; that the RNC withheld funds from the Trump campaign because (due to Kellyanne Conway) they considered him not only a loser but a common grifter; and the “laughable” idea that Trump was less interested in winning than in using the publicity to start his own media empire. Maybe Brad *is* a true believer!
Or then again, maybe he’s shifty enough to sling around as much dirt as he can conjure, in order to provide camouflage for his own criminal misdeeds?

Like anyone would let Eric make a decision. Sure, dude. Although, he oddly seems to be leaving the Orange one himself off of the decision-making list…

Amazingly OT, but until about 6:15 earlier tonight I had no idea that British serial killer Ian Brady had died last year.
…
Man, a year where he, Ailes and Manson died, Mugabe resigned, and a Republican lost a Senate race in Alabama shouldn’t have fucking sucked nearly as much as 2017 did.
Cheryl Rofer
LOL. I guess “collaboration” was too much for them to use the correct word.
AnotherBruce
@Butthurt Jordan Trombone (fka XTPD): Yeah, it really sucks that Mugabe is alive.

Gee, it’s almost like this Jared Kushner fellow had some real influence during the Trump campaign. When you get too many plates spinning on those sticks it can sting when they come down.

After my sunset hike today I stopped by the market. I learned(from the National Equirer), that the FBI is trying to impeach Trump(I thought that the House did that sort of thing, at least that’s what I learned in High School Government class), and that there are “Rouge Agents” named Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Brad Parscale is ignorant and arrogant, free of any moral scruples and greedy as hell–but he’s not stupid. This is purposeful, malicious and hilarious.

I don’t follow this closely enough to have any strong feelings myself, but Chronicler of the Trump Darkness Ashley Feinberg seems to, and she thinks there is a Don Jr. angle here. Specifically, she thinks it is part of a PR effort to reduce Jr.’s role in the campaign in the eyes of the public. She posted some now-vs-then screen caps in this tweet, then explained to confused followers what she thinks is going on:
I don’t know what’s going on here, but Feinberg has something approaching an obsession with both Don Jr. and Jared Kushner. She may be missing the forest for the trees here, but whatever. I report, you decide.

@AnotherBruce: Thing is, Item 1 slipped entirely under the radar.

I’m so glad this investigation is finally getting to Parscale. He had his Mueller interview awhile ago, I think. He’s not just up to his eyeballs in treason, he was implementing it via his IT firm. He’s completely full of himself. I can’t wait to see him taken down.

Unfortunately, as the ranking member, Senator Feinstein doesn’t have the ability to actually compel Parscale or the caddy to appear.
tobie
@sharl: sorry to be so pedantic about this but I need to spell out Feinberg’s claim to be sure I got it. Is she suggesting that the fear in the Ttump world is that Don Jr may be in the hot seat because of his meeting with the Russians in Trump Tower, so best to try to deflect attention to Eric instead?
?BillinGlendaleCA
@tobie: Yes, Trump doesn’t want Jr. in “The Big House” cause then he’d be a “looser”. Remember Trump’s biggest fear in naming a child after himself was “what if he’s a looser”.
El Caganer
“Intelligence is not the key ingredient to Chaos?” WTF does that mean? That sounds like the same kind of gibberish Trump himself would write.
cthulhu
@tobie: I think the general idea is that Eric is the most expendable Trump offspring. Well, Tiffany likely is but very hard to tie her to anything.
Mnemosyne
@sharl:
I’ve been saying for a while that, in the fucked-up dynamic of the Trump family, Ivanka is the Golden Child, Eric is the Scapegoat, and Don Jr is the foil to each of them (Scapegoat when Daddy needs one vs Ivanka, Golden Child when Daddy needs one vs Eric).
As the Scapegoat, Eric is expendable, and he’s about to be jettisoned to try and save the rest of the crew. Don Jr will be next, then Jared (Golden Child by proxy), and finally Ivanka. All will be sacrificed as needed to save Narcissist Daddy.
sharl
@tobie: My assumption is that the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians would be one of the issues of concern to the Trump family and its allies. Based on what I’ve seen – again, I haven’t been a diligent student of all this – Don Jr. was up to his eyeballs in campaign involvement, including shady stuff like that.
Whether it would be just Team Trump reflexively defending a family member, or a recognition that Don Jr. is a weak point in their defense against what investigators are likely to find, or both, I don’t know.
Y’all do have me curious about this Parscale guy though, so I need to read up on him, and whatever direct ties have been found that connect him to Don Jr. and/or Kushner, as well as any direct or indirect ties to foreign involvement in U.S. election(s).
ETA: saw Mnem’s: comment after posting; it wouldn’t surprise me that some kind of weird-ass family dynamic like that is involved. But a number of you follow this stuff far more closely than me, so my reliability on these matters ain’t very good.
Jim, Foolish Literalist
@Mnemosyne: and then, on a cliff over the Pacific, Tiffany gazes calmly out at the infinite blues of sea and sky, she reaches into her Ivanka(TR) bag and removes the burner phone she’s been using to communicate with Wolff and Meuller, and casts it into the water. Her expression unchanged, she walks back to her car, and drives back to Calabasas, to tell Marla, “Mission Accomplished”.

@Jim, Foolish Literalist: Excellent final scene!

@Mnemosyne: @sharl: The President may see them that way. Mueller and his team don’t.

@Adam L Silverman:
Just because the Trumps have a plan doesn’t mean that Mueller is going to follow that plan.

@Mnemosyne: Exactly.

@tobie:
This smells like business succession planning. Somebody has to survive the Mueller holocaust to run The Trump Organization, or else it will have to be sold, and the world would then find out how little it’s really worth.
