Per pool, Trump has arrived at Trump International Golf Club.
This is his 111th day at a Trump property, 85th day at a golf club as president. https://t.co/4ywA2Sm8iX

Stop calling Mar-a-Lago the “Winter White House.” (You too, @CNN ).
That is a deceptive Trump branding effort. Mar-a-Lago is a for-profit business owned and promoted by Trump. It is not govt-owned and it is primarily a vacation resort, whose dues T doubled when he took office— Frida Ghitis (@FridaGhitis) December 26, 2017

Once Trump has been removed from office, I vote we charge the RNC back for every bloody penny.
Mr. Charles P. Pierce takes the long view:
… All of this, and so much more of which we are probably unaware, is nakedly, blatantly unconstitutional. It’s not even a close call. When the president* turned the presidential coin into an advertisement for himself, it was only the most literal example of his coining the presidency into gold. And Judge George Daniels has dumped it right in Paul Ryan’s lap. He has challenged Ryan’s patriotism to Ryan’s face. And Ryan has shirked his constitutional duty to his country in this as he has shirked it in so many other areas. He also has dumped it in the country’s lap as well. If you don’t want to be represented by people who don’t give a damn about the Constitution, his decision says, vote them out of office—or else join them in sad complicity.
Sidebar: Note the Democrats consistently take less time off than the Repubs…
Now let’s see a chart of how much the Presidents personally profited off their vacations. pic.twitter.com/0lN3awA863

What made seeing all this on MSNBC earlier tonight worse was that one of the shows—Chris Hayes, I think—ran a montage of Trump’s outlandish accusations about how much golf Obama played and then Trump’s protestations about how when he got in the White House he would never see a golf course because he would be so busy working and “making great deals.”
He is the IMAX projector of presidents.

“Unread by John G Cole since 2010!” Or anybody else for hours apparently!
akryan
It’s so pathetic to see him trying to hide the fact that he goes golfing too. It’s like a kid trying to yank up the sheets when his mom catches him jerking off.

@raven: Oh I’m sure some people are reading. The regular lurkers. Although, BJ did seem to be down some hours ago.
I hope your Rose Bowl adventures are all the best kind.
raven
@SectionH: Yea proly so. Thanks.

That’s because he
worksgrifts smarter, not harder. If the Dems were as smart as he is, they’d have had more time off, too.rikyrah
He is a lazy grifting Con man.??

@Steeplejack (phone):
I have seen those clips on Hayes’s show.
And what about the muthaphuckas ? who complained each and every time 44 took a vacation. How much everything cost. Dolt45 bankrupted the Secret Service and they don’t say shyt.

I think it’s safe to say Hitler didn’t spend 1/3 of his first year in office as chancellor of Germany golfing.
Tsukune
Democrats running for President should sign a pledge to only golf at courses with windmill obstacles.
laura
@rikyrah: That was different because….reasons.
And we know at least one of those reasons wasn’t because he was a Democrat.

Well looking on the bright side – given the decision making of some of those GOP presidents maybe the more time off the better. Less time to make presidential decisions that get us in trouble. Like W and Iraq or St Ronulus the Unready and Beirut /marine barracks. Funny how the D’s didn’t turn that one into a BENGHAZI.
SWMBO
@d58826: Maybe they should have.
