Anyone else enraged that CNN is having Bernie Sanders (and Amy Klobuchar) debate Cassidy/Graham on healthcare next week?
Sanders is not a Dem
Sanders does not defend Obamacare
Sanders will drown out Klobuchar
Sanders’ single-payer fetish will give Cassidy/Graham (and CNN) an effective comeback to whatever critique Klobuchar makes
@Trentrunner: He’s also having a single payer rally in SF tomorrow with the California Nurses’ Association, which is run by RoseAnn DeMoro, who is a heighten-the-contradictions, bernie-or-bust, trump-will-usher-in-the-revolution idiot.
In the alternate timeline, Jill Stein called President Clinton a neoliberal warmonger for politely requesting that North Korea cease nuclear weapon and rocket tests that concern neighbors.
Also, Bernie is unhappy that Hillary’s shore up and expansion of the ACA doesn’t have a public option, and that none of the 5 neoliberal corporate sellout justices are willing to declare corporations unconstitutional.
“I go back to something Eric Holder said, ‘We’ve never had this conversation. We talked about having this race conversation. We’d never actually have it,’” Todd said citing Holder.
“Do you know the conversation I would like to see the country have?” Todd asked the panel rhetorically. “I want see Eric Holder and Jeff Sessions have a discussion, lay it all out there. In some ways, I think it could be cathartic. Like if they would just do — in both — let it all out. But in some ways, the two of them would be emblematic of this polarization that is out there. Or this view that it is a polarized conversation.”

Too many of Trump’s idiot cultists think he’s right to rattle sabres over North Korea. They must have watched “Team America: World Police” and thought it was a documentary. I suddenly agree with everything I read from Jennifer Rubin and Max Boot.
I fear that it sounds reasonable only because Trump’s idiocies have ratcheted our perceptions down.
I’m sure you’re correct. The whole thing is much more personal than the standard for international relations. OTOH, in some ways that’s a relief. I would be much more worried if Kim were talking about doing bad things to the United States than if he’s focusing on Trump personally. It reminds me of the way the US will sometimes ascribe the actions of an authoritarian government to the leader as a way of suggesting we don’t want to quarrel with their ordinary citizens.

I don’t like Bernie and he was never my guy. But I don’t think he handed victory to the GOP. Not at all. And he clearly thinks that he can make himself Mr Inevitable. And the Democrats seem willing to play along.
By the way, I think that Sanders is delusional. I also don’t think that his efforts to gain attention will mean much in the long run or the short run.
He will not be the nominee; a Bernista will not be the nominee.
A couple of key states have to refuse him primary ballot lines on the quite sensible grounds that he is not a fucking Democrat. I am basically the only white person I know who voted for Hillary Clinton in the primary election. I know a lot of white liberals in real life, some of whom live in swing states, and without exaggeration, I am pretty sure that 100.00% of the ones whose preference I know, the women and the men, aside from myself, voted for Bernie. (I know one guy who vocally preferred Hillary, but he never votes.) For the most part they came around and voted for Hillary in the general, but they didn’t like it, and some are still fuming about the DNC somehow forcing Hillary on us. Make a point of alienating all those people and we’ve got a real problem on our hands.
