… Right on the heels of Dave Daleiden’s indictment (deliberately or not). Of course the CHUUZ LIES LIFE people are gonna get their Ted-Cruz-embellished panties in a wad. But I think it’s a great reminder that Hillary, as a good Democrat, has spent many years working to improve the lives of actual children, since she was a law student working for Marian Wright Edelman.

And then the Great Unboxing begins…

Apropos of the thread about race below, there’s something in the air this year that’s running counter to Trump. Here’s a political version of “Wait for It” that was performed at this year’s Broadway Cares. And, spoiler alert for “Zootopia,” but it’s an allegory. A lighthearted one with a happy ending, but there are some moments that are going to drop parents’ jaws (in a good way).
Trump may be drawing crowds, but the opposition is even stronger. He doesn’t even realize how strong.

I’ll be kind of intrigued if Trump really doesn’t show. It could be like running the clock out with a lead. He can’t make a “mistake” at a debate he doesn’t attend, and he’d probably get lots of free air time from the networks not covering it.
At this point, I’m not sure exactly what he could say that would be a “blunder.” Something inadvertently reasonable?.

Maybe dmsilev is right, and this will effectively be the first twitter debate, with Trump getting an inordinate amount of the time.

I’ve always wondered why the American government, which sent them to fight in overseas wars in the first place, shouldn’t be held responsible to take care of these returning soldiers. Why should regular folks, many of whom are struggling just to stay afloat, take money out of our pockets to pay for soldiers who should be taken care of through our tax dollars.

It would be nice to see Kelly go after him anyway. :-)

@Tommy: That happened to me once. I was talking to a friend on the phone while sitting on the front stoop and watched police vehicles whizzing by my quiet neighborhood. My son called shortly after, because someone had kidnapped a woman and her son, nearby. Fortunately, they were released and the perp was caught. It can happen anywhere.

Great ad. It works because it’s true. Hillary is sincere about this. I’m not seeing anything to criticize.
HRC seems to love foreign wars and illegal surveillance of U.S. citizens, but then again Bernie has been pretty quiet about the surveillance issue and he hasn’t been coming out that strongly about cutting back on the U.S. military-industrial complex either. Both candidates seem genuinely concerned about (and have real substantive policies to improve the lot of) children and the elderly.
Republicans are also concerned about children, but only for their utility as underage prostitutes. That’s probably not the “god-given potential” that Hillary had in mind…

Veterans get used, abused, and throw away like kleenex by Americans because your Americano knows war is a racket, and they cruelly conclude that anyone foolish enough and gullible enough to sign up for it deserves to have politicians and defense contractors pissing in his slackjawed gaping mouth.
