This week I feel like Eddie Murphy hugging Dan Aykroyd at the end of Trading Places – stopping the hugging only to look at the right leaning folks to say “Heeyyyyy! How’d y’all make out today?”

Waiting for Ralph Nader to explain how this all would’ve happened even if a Republican President had been in the White House the past 6 years.
Ralph Nader has descended into trolldom, so you’ll do your sanity and blood pressure a lot of good by just ignoring him.

Got to wonder what the press pool thinks about the singing. Would love to have seen their faces.
President Obama looked resolute and composed as he took his seat next to Mrs. Obama.

@Betty Cracker: I haven’t stopped crying since about 7 am on the West Coast today.
Might the Reverend President have been speaking as well to those who call themselves Christians and Republicans, who need healthcare for themselves or a family member or friend, for those with gay loved ones?
Might be pulling a few away from their assumptions about him?
Lots of people won this week, it wasn’t just a schadenfreude festival

I am exhausted. How does POTUS do it? How can he go from huge event to huge event, happy and sad, and keep so calm, focused and mannered? He’s got the heart of a lion, with that quick easy smile, and a will of iron. He’s so special. OMG I HAVE ALL THE FEELS.

President Obama could be a preacher. That was an excellent Eulogy. I’ve seen President Obama speak in many black churches over the years but that had to be the most powerful speech I’ve heard from him in a church.

i was gonna add “biden too”, since he helped made sure bork got the axe (and then kennedy got nominated).
but then bork croaked in 2012, so even if he was on the court he would have already been replaced by obama.
