On the one hand, it’s good to know that George Zimmerman is so hard up that he’s volunteering to work security. In fact, his dog is in more demand than he is:
The police report states that Zimmerman told officers that Johnson asked him if he would leave his dog inside the business, following a recent burglary at the store. Zimmerman said he stayed for the evening with his dog so he could keep an eye on the business. . . . The gun sales manager at Pompano Pat’s said Zimmerman is not employed by the the shop. “George Zimmerman is not an employee of the business and he is not getting paid in any way, shape or form by Pompano Pat’s,” Sam Porter said.
But on the other hand, we don’t want this man anywhere around guns. And additionally, it would be great if the press didn’t waste anymore time on him at all. Because this man (and we use that term liberally) is a waste of space.
Team Blackness also discussed cannabis lube, using civil disobedience to gain a livable minimum wage, and how just because a man buys a woman a drink doesn’t mean she owes him ANYTHING.

I don’t know. My wish after the trial was that he never got any privacy. I wanted #whereiszimmerman to indicate every place someone saw him.

I wonder if the shop owner hired Zimmerman, got some negative publicity, and decided to lie the next day and say he hadn’t hired him? (Not following news about this guy too closely because I have to watch my blood pressure.)
CONGRATULATIONS!
Prediction: he’ll be dead in five years. And it will be from someone shooting him. He is way too crazed and inappropriate to survive in a world full of firearms.

I want Zimmerman to be in the news. I want everyone in America to think ‘Isn’t Stand Your Ground that law in Florida that let a dangerous asshole commit murder and get away with it?’ I want people to hear ‘State Rights’ and think ‘that Bundy guy who hates The Negro.’ I want people who hear ‘corporation’ to think about Mitt Romney saying ‘corporations are people, my friend’ and then launching into a rant about how he hates half of America for being poor. I think conservatives are doing more to destroy Reaganism than any amount of liberal arguments ever could. Please proceed.

Elon, enjoyed the TwIB coverage at Netroots. Great job!

A happy/Felt Elon would make an adorable muppet.
Felt Elon could host an educational segment on Sesame Street harrassment

@Karen in GA: Would employing him get the shop in trouble with their insurance?

I disagree re: Zimmerchoad. He’s another vicious and stupid albatross draped around the necks of the people who lionized him.

Zimmy is even more dangerous now that he’s addicted to the attention and has ideological enablers that will excuse his every move.

Cannabis lube? A friend wants to hear more. Not googling that before I have Tor, two VPNs, and a disposable computer available.

LULz.
I figure this substance would make for an interesting evening. Gotta keep it AWAY from Maureen Dowd, though.

How can he be hard up? I thought wingnut welfare was supposed to pay a decent bounty for killing ‘young bucks’ before they were old enough to vote and collect welfare…

Any else thinking “this is just like Norma Desmond and her Isotta Fraschini”?

@Karen in GA: I doubt it. “Self appointed savior” seems to be his thing. If I remember correctly, he wasn’t actually part of the neighbourhood watch, either.
