Straight guy that I am, I would feel the same way about Joe Manganiello. Just saying.

That show is still on?

Endeavour was excellent. But having to wait at least an year for the next series/episodes is extremely annoying.

OT, but Iggy hates being left alone.
Saw the live broadcast of the last Monty Python show today. It felt like three hours with old friends going over running jokes you’ve shared with them for most of your life. Loved every minute of it.
(Never watched True Blood. Sorry.)

@Hill Dweller:
I’m glad I have company in that. Great episode but I want the ending!

I haven’t watched True Blood so I have no idea who Joe Manganiello is but it sounds like I should try and find out.
Cooked lobsters for our Japanese guests tonight. We had a lot of fun showing them how to eat the darned things. We are used to them but they are a bit intimidating for newbies.

Love Joe M. It’s thanks to him and the vamps on TrueBlood (and Angel and Buffy, et al) that I could NEVER really get into the Twilight twinky werewolves and vampires. I like my werewolves and vamps animalistic, bloodthirsty and sexy, like the good Lord intended…lol.
Speaking of Joe M, did anyone else see him on Conan the other day where he gave Conan a stripper name (“Big Red” with a Viking motif, ya know “pillage your village, ladies”…lol) and then proceeded to show Conan a stripper move, of which Conan was unsurprisingly bad at.

Just watched s1 of Rectify. What a great show. Aden Young can call me up and come over any time, too.

@Karen in GA: I am not a pet person, but you are making me fall in love with Iggy. This is like the “text from dog.” Never have I laughed so much.

@Karen in GA:
We took a 3 week vacation a few years ago, lots of time on the road. Close friend watched the pets for us, 3 dogs and several cats at the time. They were very well-behaved, mostly.
The day before we landed back home, they ate the couch. When Pat cam over in the am, the floor in the LR was covered with bits of cloth and foam and polyfill padding. She put the bits in 4 garbage bags, because a couch expands quite a bit when diced into tiny pieces by 3 big dogs.
Fortunately a couple of each sort of pillow remained intact, so we set off to the fabric shop, which also builds things from fabric. With dogged [see what I did there?] determination the Mrs picked out existing fabric that dropdead matched the original couch fabric.
Now the couch is back in shape, almost exactly as it was before the dogs ate it. I wish Pat has taken a picture of the living room before she cleaned up the couch eating orgy!
Our first puppy ate a rocker runner, the long wooden arc that the chair rocks on, she ate 6 or 8 inches of the back end of the chair!
So Iggy is a good dog – it could be so much worse!

@Helen: Aw, shucks. Thanks!
(Texts from Dog is hilarious. I feel honored having Iggy mentioned in the same comment.)

It was very, very wrong of me to burst out laughing at this sentence, and I sincerely apologize.
Very glad to hear no permanent harm was done, and that all was right in your world and your pets’.

So very few are totally “straight’, and even then….

BWA HA HA. I can’t stop laughing.
So BWA HA HA sorry BWA HA HA for BWA HA HA your BWAH HA HA couch. BWA HA HA.

I’m watching Defiance, Tony Curran and Jaime Murray as an alien Mr and Mrs. Soprano in a dystopian future is absolutely chewing up the scenery. The first 2 episode’s plots were a bit hokey, but the characters are great.
Lawman to Mrs crime boss, “I was watching the wrong snake…. You’re the dangerous one”
Mrs crime boss “Oh aren’t you sweet” as she sits in the corner of a room tending to her knitting.
The Strain was pretty cool too.

@gogol’s wife: Me three. I want more episodes now.

Puberty vs Joe Manganiello. Who btw did a Nerdist podcast and was a down to earth, comic book collecting nerd.

@Hal: umm wow!

That episode was pretty bad. Even by True Blood standards. But the Yakuza shooting up a Ted Cruz rally at the Bush presidential library… HAH

@Karen in GA: I saw that today too. I’m still humming all the songs and doing the odd line from Spanish Inquisition. I loved every minute of it. Long live the Pythons!
