This must be the most awesome truther conspiracy ever:
- Album came out in 1979
- 9/11 reference
- 9/11 was served with breakfast … not to mention the everyday fight for freedom: “Breakfast In America.”
- Orange juice = fireball
- You are looking out of the window of a plane, she is showing the target.
Update. Yes, the image has been oriented backwards. That way the “P U” looks like “9 11”. It’s part of the evidence for the conspiracy.

That’s wonderful.

And here, all along, I thought that classic 60’s song, “See You In September,” was the 9/11 terrorists rallying song!

I went on a tour of Europe in 1981. The tour guides were both Australians, and so were most of the other people on the tour.
For some strange reason, that album – Supertramp, Breakfast in America – was the theme album for the tour. They played it on the tour bus every day, until I knew every song by heart. (Fortunately, I liked it.)
To this day, the opening chords of “Take the Long Way Home” provoke a strong sense memory of being on the tour bus, watching Florence or Cologne or Barcelona go by out the window.

Half Life 3 confirmed.

I remember that day well. Orange juice rained down on NYC like the deluge that caused Noah’s flood.

I love the manner they manage to convert the UP in super into 9 11 … takes a real tin foil hat to see that and show everyone that the hijackers worked with a band before most were even born …like the special rock song “Death’ always plays on the radio and lets the current victim hear this before striking, Ben Laden also needed to to pre-warn everyone in 1979 …
scav
mmmmm, massive Breakfast. Are they making fat jokes about poor beleagered Christie in advance too? Is there a deep supersized drinks ban allusion revelation hidden as well? also, too, there’s clearly an entire menu of future options waiting. They’ll call you Nostradamus.

My old boss was a Supertramp fanatic. I was friends so I’d go over to his place and listen to his da bomb audio system.
Breakfast In America is really fun but I prefer Crime Of The Century. Honestly most speakers can’t really handle the bass Crime of the Century puts through but…..

That way the “P U” looks like “9 11″. It’s part of the evidence for the conspiracy.
Yeah, they’re talking about it being lizard people and crap.
Way better idea to think that that bin Laden was sitting around in Afghanistan one afternoon, wondering how he was going to overcome the Great Satan and a box containing all his old vinyl showed up. He went gigging through it and BOOM!
‘Akbar! Akbar! AH! AH! We will fly a plane into the buildings and it will rain orange juice! .. Uh. Fire! Just like the record!’

I think it’s more “clinical, intellectual, cynical”, but not in the sense Supertramp meant it.

I guess they got tired of sitting in the church basement playing the “White Album” backwards.

It all fits. Supertramp is clearly a bunch of our lizard people overlords wearing fright wigs.
And if you re-arrange ‘Supertramp’, add a comma and lose an accent, you get ‘apres, Trump’, who is clearly involved and clearly a quite vain lizard overlord with bad taste and who wears a lousy wig.
Think about it, After S 11 9 ertramp, then Trump.
And is it a coincidence that all the respectable GOP 2016 contenders have been framed for supposed scandals, except Trump? I think not.
Deep waters, here, but the sheeples don’t care, as long as they can buy Trump cuff links and stuff.

@Rook: Crap, I searched for “paul” to see if anyone had referenced this, but missed “White Album” (would have looked up “Abbey Road” anyway).
BGK
@catclub:
Not only that, but the opening line from their theme song was “up, up with sheeple.”
Up, up = two words = two planes which struck the WTC
up, up with sheeple = four words = four planes hijacked on September 11th.
Up = planes go up before coming down
UP = “PU” backwards = 9/11 in a mirror
We’re through the looking glass here, sheeple.

Actually, I rather liked We’re An American Band and Closer To Home (I’m Your Captain). And they did an okay cover of the Goffin/King song The Locomotion. Didn’t care for T.N.U.C., though.

Grand Funk’s “Bad Time” is still one of the best ’60s Top 40 songs of the 1970s. (And yes, I meant exactly what I typed.)
Seanly
I’m guessing the lizard people-controlled media won’t touch this with a 10′ pole.
What I’d like to know is how some of these people are able to hold down a job.
And for whoever said they like Closer To Home (I’m Your Captain) – why? They repeat “I’m getting closer to my home …” for almost 3 minutes. Also, that’s Grand Funk, not Supertramp.

@Paul in KY:
Up With People started life as Moral Re-armament. They did travel around with all the singers and dancers and a conductor/music director, but hired local musicians as the pit orchestra. My dad, as a member of the Atlanta Symphony, always took these paying gigs, but he said that the people were so prissy and awful that most of the orchestra members played tricks on them. Not sure they ever caught on.

It was me, as part of a side discussion of Grand Funk (Railroad). They’re my favourite mediocre rock band, and as I understand Homer Simpson likes them too. If singing the same line over and over for three minutes is not greatness in mediocrity, then what is? Side discussions are, as we all know, a hallowed tradition here at The BJ.

There is only one song, from 1996, that I think could be called truly prescient with regard to 9/11: “Is Chicago, Is Not Chicago” by Soul Coughing. Got the wrong building, but the right idea.

It’s wonderfully coincidental in the way that Lincoln’s secretary was Kennedy and Kennedy’s was Lincoln. That being said, not even Supertramp could answer this —
MY QUESTION TO YOU:
What is Your source for the energy required
to produce these documented, physical, results?
PLEASE NOTE:
If you hold to the opinion that “… the airplane … the jet fuel … the tremendous heat … the loss of strength … the tube in a tube construction … the pancake effect … etc”., and you hold to this position because somebody told you so, and if you are not in a profession that provides you the tools to work out this physics problem, then it may be that all you offer is your (someone’s) opinion.
I do not wish to debate opinion.
