It’s not fixed. Ctrl,Shift,R will bring up new posts but the problems still exist.

The Twitter hashtag to follow today is #INeedMasculismBecause

I don’t know if it started out as serious or as snark, but the tweets are about 50/50.

Cleared my cache, now my nym/email autofill is back. Or maybe it’s what you did, mistermix.

It’s a mystery. I don’t understand and I want to continue. That’s my new motto.

I had to refresh the page for the new posts to show up.

Seems a bit better, but I had to reload the main page a couple of times before this post would show up (as opposed to seeing the ‘next post’ link one thread down.

Cleared my cache AND all my site cookies on Firefox, tried the main page and it seems fine now. (Clearing cache did not work before, nay-sayers. This FF install has been stuck on Marley since yesterday.)

    Yay! [/kermitdancing]

Thank you, mistermix, but can we please have another thread soon to test that it really works?

Still fucked up on firefox. I can usually access all threads using the reader, but it does not refresh comments up to date. And the recent comments is fully fubar. All of which is acceptable as I don’t have much desire to blog anyways right now.

Seems to work OK on IE10(modern UI). Don’t see the Name/EMail with Dolphin on my table, though that could be due to an upgrade there.

Also, too – for weeks I have had NO header at all, which actually doesn’t bother me since I don’t like the ‘new’ logo and since I know where the fuck I am, anyway.

I don’t know what/why it happened (I use NoScript but I always have so wtf) but it’s a little odd.

Bring back the little old guy with the striped pants and great coat and the bullhorn and the cane and the floating away balloon! I’ve only said it a thousand times, why do you keep ignoring me?!

No problems using Dolphin on my Android, no issues since since yesterday on the stock cm10 browser.

My FF at work, which is up to date with yesterdays update is still stuck on Annie’s post and can only see anything later after clearing cache.

dance around in your bones says:

    @srv: Uh, nooooooooooo….

@bemused:Yes, gawdammit! By popular demand! At least, I demand it. I really hate that candy striped half of a balloon. Not that I see it anymore.

    Comrade Mary says:

Those of you on FF in Windows: what worked for me was clearing the cache, then deleting all cookies (Tools | Options | Privacy | remove individual cookies).

Clearing the cache alone didn’t do it. The cookies needed to be tossed. Your credenza will be blank after the cookie toss, but when you rebuild it, it should stick around.

@bemused: I know – the new logo is just so generic and blah (no, not THAT kind of blah!) Plus, remember the old numbers? Fat, curvy, big and sexy?

  32. 32

@geg6: Maybe we should rename the credenza the Croce.

dance around in your bones says:

@bemused: Magic eight ball says “No doubt about it”.

@Maude: I don’t know what browser you use, but on Firefox you can install an add-on called NoSquint that lets you adjust the size of the font and the background color for any site.

It has saved my old eyes many a time. Especially on those weird sites that want to use a chocolate or pink background with lime-green letters.

Also, Theme Font and Size Changer is invaluable – of course, you have to be using FF. Which I love because of how you can adjust it to your own needs.

No, I don’t work for Firefox.

(Ok, the autofill fields just frickin’ disappeared on me again, wtf?)
