It might be better for the people of Wisconsin to deal with real problems:

I’m glad that Mr. Obama has led us into a post-racial society.

Couldn’t help myself, had to throw another $50 into the pot.

I have to tell y’all, I am SOOO looking forward to Romney vs Bachman all fall and spring (seriously) – good times!

Can I ride my motorcycle in the rain?

If I can walk through Bedford-Stuy alone.

Glad someone got my subtle B-Jo reference.

I got the reference right away, but I never realized this line was “walk through Bedford-Stuy alone.” I had some vague and unexamined idea that it was “walk your bedroom’s eye alone.” Which makes…no sense.

ETA: ‘Scuse me while I kiss this guy.

It’s going to be a blast. Slippery Mittens vs The 1000 Yd Stare. Two shall enter. One shall emerge?

@jwest: Yea, and this is an important quote from the article: “Eric, a war veteran, said that the scene he saw Thursday outside State Fair compares to what he saw in combat.”

    What fucking bullshit.

You may be right…I may be crazy! But it just may be a looooonatic you’re looking for!

On edit: drat, someone else already glommed onto the Billy Joel reference. Now I look like a wannabe.

    Such is life.

I see Jwest is still a pathetic fucktard, though.

In for $100 — $10 for each candidate and a $20 tip for Act Blue.

Thanks for your nagging, DougJ. I would honestly forget (with the best intentions in the world) so I really appreciate your reminders.

    Three-nineteen says:

@jwest: And how are the people of Wisconsin supposed to deal with this real problem?

  18. 18
    shortstop says:

@Three-nineteen: Well, they can’t until November 2012, that’s the problem. Now that a near person has gotten into the White House, black people have been emboldened to riot nightly everywhere. They were perfectly happy and calm under a white president, and now just look at them.

FWIW, I gave to the WI Dem Party directly a couple of times this month. Now they call me almost every night and whisper sweet nothings to me. I sing them old labor songs as a symbol of my stalwart support. Everyone wins.

DODJ, i am sooo appreciative you’ve spearheaded this effort, and sure wish i had some extra jack to send along.

however, i WILL be making calls to WI today and monday; hope others can also contribute with this direct effort whether or not they were able to contribute financially.

    thx again.

“I’m glad that Mr. Obama has led us into a post-racial society”

One person at a time. When is it going to be your turn, you worthless piece of shit? All it takes is the courage to say “I was wrong.” Think you can hack that?

Drop some coin in the kitty, folks. The Wisconsin recalls are a national barometer. We can give the Dems a new model based on spinefulness and economic populism, not fealty to corporate barons.

I didn’t catch the Billy Joel reference, so I’m glad you did make your comment.

I gave to the last Wisconsin bleg a couple of days ago, and now I can’t find the debit card I used. So if anyone has seen my debit card, would you let me know?

I checked the bank, and it hasn’t been used since, so I apparently lost it somewhere between my couch and my purse. (I already checked under the cushions.)

    cckids says:

@jwest: I gotta say, that is one poorly-written article. Middle school newsletters would expect better.

And why in the name of FSM is this story Obama’s responsibility? Some teens are assholes. It has ever been thus.

Thanks for the reminder, DougJ. I really needed to do this.
