And this was unexpected in which way, now?

If this were the worst that they did, I’d be happy. Sadly — as we can see from the next FP post — it’s not.

i do love the fake cornyn tweets.
seriously, bunch of people need to retweet that shit in a big way. show the bastards what it’s like.

Well, the best place to bury a dead hooker is probably-I mean, I for one am outraged!

My only quibble: I was under the impression the phrase “too clever by half” means that whatever plan/action turns out to be 1.5X more clever than anticipated is one that bites the plannner/enactor in the @$$. Hence, I was waiting for the NRSC’s comeuppance in ABL’s post. Alas, there was none.
But, yeah, the fake Conryn tweets are da shitz. Instead of being offered as something to envision on a blog, someone should actually tweet those.

I’m not sure what the Repubs hope to achieve with this twitter nonsense. Or even the blank page nonsense.
Most of the Twitterati are probably younger than most Republicans. Are they trying to impress the youngsters [younger than 50 years old] with their cool, savvy ways?

And the wingnut base will believe every word. Reminds me of the old commercial with 3 kids and some food product, “Let”s give it to Mikey. He’ll eat anything”.
Mnemosyne
I realize I’m exposing my age here, but you have it backwards: it’s a Life Cereal commercial and the point is that Mikey doesn’t like anything, so therefore it’s amazing that he’s actually eating the cereal.
And, yes, YouTube has the original commercial.

I would give them more points (bringing them up to -999,998) if the page returned a “404 Error: Budget not found.”
Of course, that’s too technical for them.
cleek
they’re out there, scrapping it up, fightin the good fight, takin shots where they can. and that keeps the base happy. and a happy base is a base that supports their team, votes for their team, and donates for their team.
anyone here get the feeling that the DNC gives a fuck about the base? the only thing i hear from them is begging for cash.

I think for the GOP, a “youngster” is someone who was in high school before Thriller came out.

@#8 Mnemosyne:
The integrity of our childhood memories is worthy of our vigilance.
Mnemosyne
The scary thing is that I also remember commercials that were on when I was two years old.

Mnemosyne@8:
Oh yeah, now it’s coming back to me.
Not quite a good fit then but the wingnut blogs, radio, tv can feed any bs to their fans and they will believe anything.

Mamma made fried chicken and I halped!

at Mnemosyne:

Here are the Flintstones selling Winston cigarettes.

I very much look forward to more official Republican tweets from you, RNCSpokesman!
