Now that the international break is over, leagues are gearing up again with several games scheduled for tomorrow. Home teams are listed first; all times are EDT.

I might actually get to watch some of the above-mentioned EPL games tomorrow, now that wet field conditions in my area have cancelled the (more humble, but still competitive-level) soccer games I was supposed to be refereeing. I can’t DVR them, because my wife has the *&^% thing full of her shows and that’s something I have to tolerate to get her reciprocal blessing to be gone all day many Saturdays and Sundays refereeing soccer.

Boon Diss League Uh!! I love Kraut futbol. My pocketbook could use some high scoring games, hint hint.
Temporarily Max McGee (soon enough to be Andy K again)
Oh, for chrissakes! For once Man Utd is on ESPN2, where I could watch them online, and I have to go to bed early rather than stay up all night to catch an EPL game. Fucking parents!

Best news from the football world in the last couple of weeks is that Charlie Davies is back playing.
I normally avoid rooting against Americans whenever possible, but tomorrow I will make am exception. Eric Lichaj Must Die!

Going to be a wild night and morning in Indian neighborhoods. World Cup final starts at 5:30 Eastern time.
Hope Sri Lanka bats first, so I don’t miss the beginning of India’s innings. Tendulkar vs. Mularitharan should be epic.

what? no love for the SPL? Long live St. Johnstone!

“Borussia Dortmund (WWWLD) v Hannover 96 (WWWLW) at the Westfalen Stadium”
A characterization of this as “a game not to miss” before the start of the season would have elicited howls of derision. Hannover were overwhelmingly considered relegation material (a fate they missed by the breadth of a hair last season).
Really weird season in the Bundesliga.

@burnspbesq: Only sports event of the night. Is Sachin going to retire?

Big pile of work to get through today, but I am streaming cricket throughout.
Randinho
@piratedan: Not much given that since the Pleistocene Epoch it’s been Rangers or Celtic.
That notwithstanding, I don’t mention the SPL, because they aren’t on any of the major broadcast/cable channels.
