What am I up to? It’s the end of my weekend. I have had a quiet day, and I am looking forward to dinner and the Monday night football game. And I am girding my loins to go in to work at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow for “holiday hours” at the store. Not looking forward to it, but I think the silver lining is that I am opening all week, so I will be out by 4:00 and will miss the evening craziness.
And I am definitely glad I will not be closing on Christmas Eve. The store closes at 7:00, but the hapless booksellers have to stay until 9:30 to take down all the Christmas crap and put up all the post-Christmas bargain crap. Good times. And, no, they didn’t ask for volunteers, they just assigned people, because shut up, that’s why. Don’t know how I dodged that bullet.
I would please ask that you either point out where I have ever called for treason, or stop making such childish, slanderous remarks and engage me in a more mature, adult conversation.
DADT will remain the police of the US military into the distant future. No repeal is going to happen, liberals, we’re going to run out the clock on the insane duck session.
So do you have magic powers that let you foretell the future with such uncanny accuracy, or do you use Issac Asimov’s “Psycho-history”?
I admit, I didn’t realize the extent to which certain Republicans could be so clueless as to throw the military under the bus during the insane duck session and thinking nobody would notice.
Collins, Snowe, Ensign, Kirk–they’re all #1 Tea Party targets now. We’re not stupid enough not to notice just because it’s the week of Christmas.
BTW, I guess I won’t have to wait too long for more liberal whining,it will resume soon after the first gay soldier whips it out on the wrong man and gets beaten to a bloody pulp and wonders why.
