“Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, in an exclusive interview airing at 1 p.m. Tuesday on Newsmax.com, discusses her staunch opposition to President Barack Obama’s healthcare plans and soci alistic policies, and reveals new details about a possible presidential run in 2012,” David A. Patten writes for NewsMax. “She also warns that allowing Iran to acquire nuclear weapons may ‘lead to Armageddon’ — a scenario that could lead to the deaths of millions in a Third World War.”
How Sarah stopped worrying and learned to love The Bomb, or, who can see Hell from her front porch?

Barney Frank on Olbermann tonight = thoughtful discussion about DADT being found unconstitutional.
As he said, Obama is right and he should let the process play out at the legislative level. His advice to Obama/Justice is to not issue a decision about the appeal because the House will be in session well before the 60 days is up.
Good advice.

This kitten is still at my office with her brother. I don’t know why my boss doesn’t just take them home, or to the Humane Society. Poor little kitties.
@El Cid: That picture reminds of this pantomime I do and ask people to guess what it is – which is fast-forwarding through the bj scene in a prono. You just kind of hold your hands down and jerk your upper body around and your head back while making o faces.

Also, TBogg on Sarah Palin’s rhetoricianatizing also too:
“We cannot undo the damage done by the Obama agenda until we replace Obama himself,” Palin said. “These two elections, 2010 and 2012, go hand-in-hand. … The theme of 2010 has got to be rebuke their errors, reject, repeal; and then the theme of 2012 — it’s renew, revive and restore.”…
__
Palin has used versions of the “renew, revive, restore” line previously.
Palin, whose qualifications for the presidency are her looks and the ability to avoid any questions that are more difficult than “Housekeeping. I clean up now, yes?” has chosen her campaign slogan from something sitting on her vanity right beside the blue eye shadow and lip liner in Moose Blood Rouge…
Just watch and wait for it so you too can see what they did there. Also, what the hell? How are you going to work in references to Antoine Dodson’s viral video about his sister’s near sexual assault in a POLITICAL ATTACK AD!?!?!?! What’s next? Ads for bug spray? (“They’re climbing in your windows, spreading Lyme Disease, trying to kill you so you better spray the yard! Spray the house! Spray the yard! Spray the house! And use some OFF too because they biting everybody out there!”) I give up. I give up on everything. (Via Mediaite)
My god, the fact that this is in the O’Donnell/Coons race shouldn’t go unnoticed. If that’s the best they can do, they’re welcome.

Doesn’t he have approval ratings that rival Shrub’s?

So, an update on my missing cat. He’s still missing :( :( My wife has cried at least twice now and I have this permanent pit in my stomach. He’s really precious to us. Such a good little boy.
Aww — poor little guy! Have you done the usual stuff, like contacting the area vets and the local animal shelter, putting up posters, posting on Craigslist and Petfinder, etc? If they get scared, they can get further away than you think, so try to hit at least a 5-mile radius with posters if you can.

He’s usually very sensible, so I don’t know why he would wander so far afield.. I sent email to our housing group mailing list with a picture.
If I don’t see anything by tomorrow, I will put up signs and on petfinder/craigslist. Anywhere I can get eyes looking. I’ve never been through this before and I don’t really like the experience much. :( This is the longest he’s been out..
It’s now over 24 hours, so tomorrow morning I’ll call the area vets and (there is a lot out there, more than medical clinics for some reason) and I’ll probably call the shelter as well.

@Cain: Years ago, my sweet kitty was startled by a loud noise and ran out an open door. He was gone for two nights, in thunderstorms no less, and I was starting to give up hope, but he came back. Soaking wet and looking a little worse for the wear, but I was so happy to have him back. I hope that we get to hear a happy ending to your story soon.
Thanks guys, I’ll definitely follow up tomorrow. More than anything, I’m hoping that he’s not hurt somewhere or something like that. I did some stalking around and I didn’t anything where he was hit or anything by a car. He won’t go near a main road, and our street doesn’t have a lot of traffic and it’s always full of running dogs anyways (lot of dogs run outta the house.. you have to tell them to go home and they will!)
I guess that is what is really bugging me. Last week he got into a fight with maybe a possum or something and had some claw marks around his stomach region. If I knew he was physically okay, I’ll be less worried but I really miss him.. no familiar lump on the bed. :/
