Big night at Cole HQ last night, as Ginny and Guesly both graduated from the first round of obedience school.
Mom says they will start the next round in a couple of weeks.

I love how the little black and white one is wagging his tail so hard that it is a blur in the photo. Too precious!!!

Their teacher looks like she has a pretty tight rein on them, though.
Congrats to the new grads! Good luck in this job market.
Comrade Kevin
Heh, that’s what I noticed as well.

Wile E. Quixote
I love that picture. When I think of those two I think of the Simpsons episode where Santa’s little helper has to go to obedience school.
Nikki
They’re too cute!

When I look at those pups, I see this. So much chaos & energy, in such a tiny package.
John Cole
@AhabTRuler: The only thing dumber would be the nuclear hand grenade. Good thing they scrapped that. Too heavy to throw.
Comrade Kevin
and then there’s the X-15 Cruise Basselope.

@John Cole: I don’t know if "stupid" really captures it. I mean, given the many ways in which the modern battlefield (i.e. every-frickin’-where) can be rendered "unpleasant," anything that get the job done makes a certain sense. It’s all completely fucking insane, but it follows a logic.
Now Operation Plowshare, that must have been due to some bad grass.
Oh, cute puppies, BTW. ;-)
Bill
Those two are absolutely too cute for words.
Captain Haddock
Do your folks get anything done, or do they just sit around all day in awe of their cute critters?
passerby
Aren’t they wonderful. I can imagine mortarboards and tassels on their little domes.
[ Now, did they really graduate or were they just ‘socially promoted’ ? ]
(original post on wrong thread)
Punchy
I’m sure they can take that diploma to AIG and get some 7 fig gigs selling CDSes and Beggin’ Strips on the shadow banking market.

…the one with the waggily tail….

How’s Tunch’s obedience training coming along?
schrodinger's cat
Tunch has completed his obedience training. He has trained John very well to cater to all his whims.

Do we have any proof that this "graduation" isn’t just passing the class troublemakers on to the next grade level?
Devon
This seems to me to be some sort of subliminal, desperate plea for grandchildren…

My earlier comment got eaten, but basically I was wondering if this meant an end to seeing videos of freshly bathed JRTs wreaking havoc in your dad’s spotless formal living room. I’d be kind of sad if it did. (I know, I know, I’m not the one who has to live with them, but damned if they’re not cuter when they’re being bad.)

Guesly: pant, pant, pant, that was fun!! ready for round 2, bring it!!
Ginny: why are you doing this to me?
AmIDreaming
Oh, stop. Those dogs are evil. You can just tell. Their little hearts are as black as the Ace o’ Spades. Take it from one who knows what mighty malignity can lurk behind such irresistible faces!
binzinerator
The pupsters post is back!
Cute lil’ soon-to-be recidivists, aren’t they?
Johnny Pez
What’s that you say, Mrs. Robinson?
Comrade Stuck

PSA: Anybody who’s sharing their lives & homes with dogs should look into passing the Canine Good Citizen test:
CGC Test
… which is really a "Canine-Housemate Good Citizen" program. It gives you, and Fido, a baseline for acceptable dog behavior in our not-always-dog-habituated society. Which can be very, very useful when it comes to renting an apartment, or getting a co-op board to agree on sensible pet rules, or bringing your dog to work / classes / shopping / other situations where people don’t always know what to expect & how to act around a dog.

@AnneLaurie
That CGC link was quite interesting. THX.
Steeplejack
Pure evil. And you’re training them?! God help us all.

Those are Jack Russell Terrorists aren’t they? Cute.

Awesome. Very cute. Though I like the Tunch "action" shots just as well.
