John, Tim and Michael all apparently seem to agree on one thing: "They Live".

So jobless claims are up 27,000 today to the highest level since 1992.
Remind me, who was president then?
Before that, the highest level was in 1982. The president back then was some kind of saint, wasn’t he?
I think I see a pattern here.

Republicans create trickle down wealth and nose-diving unemployment reports.

Sully made me laugh out loud yesterday:
You never know what you’re going to be blogging about from day to day. As I got up this morning and removed my urine streaked boxers, put on my hysterical dress, and sat down to shriek, the world just opened up. All those doors to plow through; all that amniotic fluid to clean up after. Good times.
Ha.

Did anyone else see the video of Bush being shunned at the G20 summit? I didn’t think this was possible, but it actually made me feel bad for the guy. Additionally, it made me think that those doing the shunning are assholes. Maybe it’s my sports background showing through, but you should at least shake someone’s hand.

Montysanto, looking at that video, it certainly doesn’t appear as if they shunned his handshakes any more than he shunned theirs. His arm did not go up one time, he refused to even look at a few of them.
We had a night off in Indianapolis with Seger and The Bullets. AC/DC was playing. Always being up for a good lig, we all went to the show, minus Bob. They gave us a Skybox to watch from, in the old Market Square Arena.
You should have seen the look on the band’s faces. It was like it was a religious experience. They had never seen AC/DC before and, of course, AC/DC was its usual brilliant self. Flawless.
The first time I saw them was back in high-school when they were on the "For Those About To Rock" tour.
I’d been playing drums for a couple of years and was still in that "trying to figure out how it’s done" phase. Then I saw Phil Rudd. Jeebus. It was like watching Tiger Woods swing a golf club. Sounds corny, but it was life-changing for me as a musician.
Plus, I just loved how they seemed like five guys who just happened to be backstage as if the promoter said "Shit! Where’s the band!? Hey, you guys — get out there and play something!"
They’re the best.

That was a dirty post, done dirt cheap.
Hey, anyone else out there mourning the fate of the Yugo? Very sad.

Our Lady of Perpetual Outrage is, umm, outraged again, this time over teh gays invading eHarmony. That seems to be the theme today.
