Looks like the wingnuts found their “but the left does it, too, SEE?” moment in an ambush that KDFW tv reporter Rebecca Aguilar conducted on a man who shot two intruders in two separate break-in incidents. What they seem to gloss over is the fact that the reporter WAS SUSPENDED and will be off the air for an indefinite amount of time.
So when the Hell is the Stalkin’ Malkin getting off my internet?
The Iraqs inked a deal with Iran and China to build power plants-NYT today.
Sorry I can’t link right now.
Anywho, the US military is not happy.

Republicans continue their attacks on sick children and their parents. Note that these parents are also Republicans, no mark of the devil (01-20-09 bumper sticker) apparently.
I really am curious. Telling poor or middle-class people who have jobs that have little or no health insurance they should just “get other jobs with healthcare as a sacrifice to their families” doesn’t seem like a winning strategy. More and more people are un or under-insured, because their employers keep raising premiums or dropping coverage. It’s not like these people are in the minority anymore, and it’s really 99% of the jobs out there that have health insurance and just a few specialty ones that pay a zillion that don’t.

Bulletin: In addition to the Iranian contraband ordinace reported by the US miitary of late, sources now report recent detection of enormous stores of US-made weaponry including state-of-the-artairplanes and M1A1 tanks, in Iraqi territory.
Military experts attribute this to porous borders and widespread violations of sovereign Iranian airspace.
The media is attempting to force Sam Brownback out. Typical.
And Denny Hastert is resigning to spend more time with his legal team family

According to Red State and non-partisan folks at world net daily, California has made it a law that schools can not use phrases such as “mom and dad” and “husband and wife” due to the passing of SB777 this week. They also go on with other acts like AB 394 and AB 14 are part of anti-discrimination laws. These new laws are “right out of the old communist re-education center handbook.”
