This is so typical no matter what the President does wrong all Democrats do is attack but do they fix the problem? No! They have no ideas all DemonocRats can do is say what they would not do and that is not a positive message. It is too bad for DemocRats that all they can do is accues because it just shows how petty they are. Who would vote for such a downer? Get some LOVE of JESUS in your HEARTS and you will see that DOING is BETTER! :-)

WASHINGTON – Attorney General Alberto Gonzales wrongly stated he was not involved in discussions about the firings of federal prosecutors, his former chief of staff told the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday.

“I don’t think the attorney general’s statement that he was not involved in any discussions of U.S. attorney removals was accurate,” testified Kyle Sampson, who quit this month as Gonzales’ top aide. “I remember discussing with him this process of asking certain U.S. attorneys to resign.”

    Gone-Zo.

    Adios.

    Hasta la vista.

Alberto is going to have to come back from his pedophile roundup and clean out his desk.

    So long, motherfucker.

This Sampson guy was expertly coached at what to say, what to “forget”, what to stress, and what to dismiss. It’s clear he’s an expert lawyer, and knows WTF he’s doing up there.

That said, there’s just so much paperwork discrediting his bullshit that he can only obfuscate just so much malfeasance….I think the WH comes out of this looking cleaner than before (although not completely clean), while…wow…Gonzo is Gone-zo.

Your work is showing dramatic improvement. Is a DemonocRat a cross between a Demon, someone with mononucleosis and a rat? Just curious.

Something just occurred to me. You spell accuse interestingly, do you use Firefox as your browser?
You’ve got to work more on the punctuation, and when you use exclamation marks, use three or four in a row.

Think about it–how do you spin “shutting down the hearings”? Either you don’t want the truth, you don’t want the truth to come out, or you’re not believing Sampson’s testimony. None of that bodes well for these jokers.

Phrase of the day? Sampson’s response to an untold number of questions regarding statement by AG AG:

    “No, I don’t think that’s accurate.”

Specter was surprisingly hard on him. I particularly liked his dismissive comment when Sampson sat there with a straight face and said there was “no connection” between Lam serving warrants and his “We have a problem with Lam” memo.

Specter: “No connection? It was just a coincidence?”

No suprise I live in So Cal and it seems every other day you hear about some sort of “attempted child abduction” on the local news. So Cal news is just as dramatic as Hollywood with regard to how they hype EVERYTHING.

Weather calls for drizzle and it is immediately cast as “Storm Watch 2007!”.

Now they are discussing the political/performance criteria being an artificial distinction. Sampson says they were singled out because there were questions about them raised, and some of those factors might be considered political. Was Iglesias asked to resign because of performance? Sampson says yes. Hatch now walking through the GOP talking points of what the meaning of Performance Issues and Political are.

Maybe she will be a bull dog when she is investigated.
    So will Democrats investigate this?

Sen. Dianne Feinstein has resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee. As previously and extensively reviewed in these pages, Feinstein was chairperson and ranking member of MILCON for six years, during which time she had a conflict of interest due to her husband Richard C. Blum’s ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by Feinstein.

As MILCON leader, Feinstein relished the details of military construction, even micromanaging one project at the level of its sewer design. She regularly took junkets to military bases around the world to inspect construction projects, some of which were contracted to her husband’s companies, Perini Corp. and URS Corp.

  52. 52
    Pb says:

    So will Democrats investigate this?

Not when it’s only coming from World Nut Daily and the like–the real conflict would be if she didn’t resign… also:

She regularly took junkets to military bases around the world to inspect construction projects

Doing your job = junket? Why does that sound strangely familiar–did Dick Cheney write this crap too?

  53. 53

  54. 54
    t. jasper parnel says:

The FBI agent who defended Lam and insisted that it was all political resigned, it seems. If this keeps up, Bush will look competent because anyone who can speak in full sentences will have left the building, Cheney speaks, so I understand, in cuss and buckshot.

    eddie says:

What I really fail to understand is how so many “bright” people have such bad memory? How does one get hired if one cannot remember what occurred a mere three or four months ago. Especially if that is the only thing that one does all day long. How does one graduate from any institute of higher education with such a bad memory?

If I were in front of any person at my company and answered with such aplomb “I can’t remember”, I think that I would be tossed to the curb immediately.
