the quote is:
“We’ve got an issue in America. Too many good docs are getting out of business. Too many OB-GYNs aren’t able to practice their love with women all across this country.”
Well, a doctor’s “love” is practicing medicine, and an OB-GYN ain’t gonna practice it on a man. Oddy worded, yes, but it still makes more sense than Kerry’s Iraq policy (what is his position today?).

I think this is in reference to the huge number of doctors who don’t go into or get out of OBGYN, particularly in rural America due to high malpractice costs.
Think, how did Edwards make his millions?

I dont know what me meant, but Oliver probably got a few bucks from Soros for printing that post….hack that he is

Go watch the clips on Olivers site. I about cried, its so hilarious. Personally, I find Bushs verbal gaffes to be endearing, giving him that common touch. But… damn, that was hilarious.

George W. is to grammar and diction what JFKerry is to military service.

He meant “glove” but got confused.

As someone who speaks fluent Bush I knew exactly what he was saying. I’m pretty sure Oliver and company knew also but had much more fun pretending they didn’t.
Those among us who haven’t experienced such tongue blunders cast the first stone.

“He meant “glove” but got confused.”
Naah, he meant glave, or to gamble. Must’ve been betting or something… :)

“he” would have worked better than “JFKerry” in the sentence above.

Here’s an example of the political astuteness of Bush. He knows he’s prone to malapropisms – so what does he do? He JOKES about it. Self-deprecating and all that jazz. So when Dems go crazy over statements like the above, it is POINTLESS. Bush has innoculated himself on this point and any whining about comes off as humourless.
Dorian and GR are right – this is a Bush flaw that makes him more likable.

I have in mind a little Virginian mamma’s-boy who couldn’t read a word until he was 12…
