Ronald Reagan gets a colorful send-off from Christopher Hitchens that is worthy of, well, in Hitchens case, Bob Hope and Mother Theresa.

Mean-Spirited
It’s fine to dislike Ronald Reagan’s politics and Ronald Reagan as a person. But this is just mean-spirited and makes Christopher Hitchens look like a first-class ass. [b]UP

Good to see I’m not the only one who completely fails to see Hitchens’ presumed brilliance. I have no idea on what basis anyone considers him a worthy judge of, reliable source for or expert about anything.
Hell, he doesn’t appear to have come to terms with the basics of personal hygiene, or even sitting up straight and not mumbling into his (rumpled) shirt’s neck opening when attempting to impart his alleged wisdom on TV.

It appears grave-pissing is a hobby of his.

But, I thought CH was one of your guys now, you lucky duckies.

One can be on the left and support the war while disliking Clinton, believe it or not. You’re not an automatic “far right Freeper/Dittohead” for doing either.

CH was asked to say what he did about Mother Theresa.. by the Catholic Church. And nothing he said seemed to me unfair.

I really thought Hitchens was overboard on the Mother Theresa thing until I later learned that the Vatican asked him to write it. They asked him to be the ‘advocatus diaboli’ or devil’s advocate to argue the case AGAINST the beatification of Mother Theresa.
ha
Hitch isn’t right or left, just a prick.
