I am still receiving a whole helluva lot of reurned messages, so someone is either still spoofing my email, or people are finally responding. Who knows. I am really sick of this whole virus thing. Grow up, you simple bastards.
In other news, my google toolbar updated itself, and google now has a wonderful pop-up blocker. It works like a charm.

Yeah, I’ve had the popup blocker on mine since I installed it a couple weeks back. I’ve been quite impressed with it.
And I think it’s just a spoofing thing. I’ve gotten at least 40 from Larry Elder, the talk show host. The only thing I can think of is that he’s on the Carnival of the Vanities default mailing list. But even so, I only sent out maybe three messages to that group.

Better idea: Drop IE as fast as you can and try Opera or Mozilla. Built-in popup blocking, and you won’t hose your computer by browsing the web.
You guys did patch IE this week — again — didn’t you?
Bob Otch
About the virus, if you are getting the returned mail, it doesn’t mean someone is spoofing your address. All it means is that someone has your email address in their address book in Outlook Express. The virus picks an email address from someone’s book and sends emails as if it were from you.
I for one, do not save any contacts in my address book. I don’t want to be responsible for spreading anything.

The virus spoofs email addresses in the “from” line.
It accesses your Outlook book, but it also accesses your cookies and some other places, too.
