I’m just looking at the weather outside. Low temp was in the 60s Tuesday morn. Yesterday, a tornado touched down less than 7 miles away from the shack. Right now, 34 degrees and a light flurry of snow, on its way to the low 20s night.
Way back when I was a child, we had “blue laws”, whereby most business were forced to close on Sundays. Maybe those days weren’t so bad. Perhaps we need something like that today. One day a week where everyone is force to shut down and take a breather… a break from the 24/7/365 madness of the societal monster we’ve created.
