These otherwise decent people are being LIED to by organizations and conservative talk radio. Insurance lobbyists are actually USING these decent people by urging them to go out and disrupt town hall meetings. How blind are these guys?!?

Yes, we are all worried that the MSM will portray them as part of some greater uprising against healthcare reform, however, since everyone is already talking about how they are part of a orchestrated “campaign” to disrupt townhall meetings (as was just characterized on NPR) then we have a very good chance of turning their craziness against them. Mostly what we need is to show up to these meetings with video cameras/cellphone cameras/etc. Get them on tape screaming that health care reform makes Obama just like a nazi—don’t be afraid to ask them questions about their medicare, medicaid or social security disability benefits. Oh, and by all means, ask them about Obama’s birth certificate, they won’t be able to help themselves.

These are Palin’s biggest supporters, these are people who idolize Glenn Beck for fart’s sake—they’re not the brightest and can be outmanuvered. It’s just going to take a little work and some confidence that we can do it.

That meetup page reminds me of the annoying yellow ribbon magnets where the gap in the center map is made into a heart, and there’s an extra heart-shaped magnet with “God Bless USA” or “I love USA” or some such nonsense.
